Our Story
The Gelagen Story
Why a berry gummy exists, what we decided not to do, and the four rules we hold ourselves to on every page of this site.
It Started With A Cupboard
Every person who has ever tried to look after their skin from the inside has the same cupboard: a collagen powder used four times, a bottle of capsules the size of a thumb, something with a proprietary blend on the label that never told you how much of anything was in it, and a bag of something green that smelled like a hedge.
None of it failed because the science was wrong. It failed because none of it survived contact with an ordinary Tuesday morning. That was the observation Gelagen was built around, and it is the reason the product is a chewable rather than a capsule.
What We Decided Not To Do
Most of the decisions that shaped this product were decisions to leave something out.
No collagen. The obvious commercial move for a brand with our name is to put collagen in the bottle and let the name do the selling. We did not, because collagen taken by mouth is digested into amino acids and your body then builds its own using enzymes that need vitamin C. We put the vitamin C in instead and we explain the reasoning on every page where it comes up.
No proprietary blend. A blend lets a brand list twenty impressive ingredients while disclosing the amount of none of them. Every declared amount on our panel is printed, which occasionally means printing a number smaller than a competitor's.
No star ratings in search results. We publish no aggregate rating and no review structured data anywhere on this site. Star snippets attached to unverified testimonials are misleading, and we would rather have a plainer search result.
No countdown timers. There is no clock on our pricing page, no dwindling stock counter and no invented dollar value on the bonus guides. If the product is not worth buying calmly, it is not worth buying.
Our Rules
Four Rules We Write By
Each one costs us something measurable, which is the only reason any of them is worth stating.
Print the number
If a nutrient is in the bottle, its amount is on the label and on this site. A blend is a way of not answering the only question that matters.
Say the caution out loud
Our vitamin A figure and our biotin figure both come with things you need to know. They appear above the price on this website rather than below it.
Do not promise speed
Skin renews across four to six weeks. Any brand telling you about week one is describing something other than biology.
Publish the bad reviews
A page where everyone is delighted tells a reader nothing. Ours keeps the disappointed ones, including the refund.
What We Sell, Precisely
Gelagen is a dietary supplement. It supplies nutrients that skin, hair and nail tissue draw on while they are being built. If your diet was already covering those nutrients, the most likely outcome for you is nothing, and we say so on the homepage, on the formula page and in the guides we send free with an order.
We are not selling youth, we are not selling confidence, and we are certainly not selling a treatment for any medical condition. We are selling a floor under one part of a much larger picture that also includes sleep, sun protection, not smoking, and a varied diet — all of which matter more than we do.
Where To Find Us
Questions about the formula, the routine or the guarantee reach a person at care@geelagen.com and are answered within two working days. Anything about an order already placed is fastest through the checkout that took it, because that is where your order number lives.
Our journal is where we write about the parts of this that have nothing to do with a bottle. Nothing in it is a funnel back to the order page, and several articles will save you money.
